Oulton hall in Leeds

Oulton hall in Leeds. Booking made in January for group of 8 staying 2 nights with 3 rounds of golf. On arrival we was informed that there was no buggies available even though we had email confirmation. The pro shop advice was to cancel and go somewhere else?? They did manage to arrange buggies for 4 people as some of our party was unable to walk that distance. Same thing day 2, but was promise all buggies for the last round. The pub / dining area at the golf section only open at the weekends. This was evident with other parties too and the pro witnessed by myself literally shouting at a guest after they messed up? Prices of alcohol varies depending on time and who is serving. Last day car broken in and all clubs stolen. Mine alone had a value of £3000. No signage regarding liability? Reception wasn’t interested even given us a dust pan and brush for us to sweep the mess up ourselves. Apparently club storage but not offered on check in. Still waiting on the hotels to supply the police with CCTV footage. Countless emails with director of the hotel (Jan Coskun) and director of golf (Jon Pilkington) both of which are proven liars with empty promises. Asked for regional contact information to escalate but no response. A more suspicious person would think they are hiding something???This place is awful service and awful facilities as the course is an absolute mess. The only resolution they offered is for us to go back to play and stay one night. This is after they know we have no clubs to play with. Please be warned and stay away as you WILL leave disappointed.

Belton Woods Golf Course Changes

Belton Woods Golf. Very disappointed to return from lockdown to find course allowing rough to grow and encroach too far onto course. Management stated they dont want drunken societies attending and deliberately making the course a greater challenge. Noble sentiments but losing 5 balls a round and 5 hour rounds is not enjoyable. Time will tell if they can attract the numbers to make the course pay
